FieldSmart® Inspect FieldSmart Inspect increases the efficiency of the inspection process. The application provides a highly intelligent framework for data collection along with display, query, and editing capabilities for the inspection of facilities contained within the GIS. For data collection, FieldSmart Inspect combines forms and text information with geographic data. Field users capture data by selecting from lists, filling in form fields and placing objects on a map or field sketch. To ensure flexibility, the software interfaces with a variety of devices including GPS. For inspections, FieldSmart Inspect allows users to query data about exisitng facilities and update the status using dialogs created according to a company's data model and business process. The inspection capability can be tied to any compliance inspection (i.e. leak analysis, cathodic protection, pad mount transformer and pole audit) and surveys of a given client asset.
